My name is Robert, I'm the creator of Titanic Tarot. I invite you to join me on a journey to the land of Oz. During this journey you'll meet many of the beloved characters that were created by L. Frank Baum. You'll also meet a few characters I created specifically for this deck.
The inspiration for this deck happened while I was working on Titanic Tarot. I was watching Wizard of Oz and listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. If you never did this, I suggest you give it a try. It's a cool way to listen to the music while enjoying some nice visuals. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to do a Dark Side of Oz tarot deck. After I started reading the Oz books (instead of just going from what I knew from the movies), I realized the Oz books were already dark enough. That's why I decided to name the deck simply Oz Tarot (opposed to Dark Side of Oz).
The deck will feature 78 illustrated cards with much inspiration from the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck. The cards will come packaged in a rigid two piece cardboard box. The cards will also have a matte gold gilded edge.
The Major Arcana
The Major Arcana consist of some characters you're familiar with such as Dorothy, the Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the Scarecrow and the Wicked Witch. Within the Major Arcana you'll also discover lesser known characters such as King Pastoria, Princess Ozma, Queen Lurline and China Princess.
