An emblematic trick from "Magie Duvivier," akin to "Chameleon Card."
The deck of cards wasn't made normally: blue-backed cards... in a red case! No faces... just backs printed instead! Both sides are backs: one side red, the other blue!
But not to "waste" these cards, imagine what could be done with a normal deck... if one side were the faces, not the backs.
You could mix the cards face-up, face-down, that is, red backs and blue backs... and magically separate them!
You could even redo the trick... mix them face-up, face-down.
Then you could start by creating two "normal" cards... then the rest of the deck! And in addition, the red faces and black faces would be separated!
Then cut into four packets... And produce the four Aces! And in the finale, the cards from the four packets would be spread, and you would have the spades ranked from Ace to King, as well as hearts, clubs, and diamonds!
