Description
When you set out to read the Hidden Agenda, clear your mind, remove all magical items around you (decks of cards, coins, etc.) and read without technical, theoretical, or moral prejudices. Let the words pass through your mind without settling in it. Don't strive in that direction. At some point, something will connect. You'll know right away. If you consult the Hidden Agenda with a trick in mind, try not to burden that image with preconceptions. By clearing your mind and giving it time to settle, you'll facilitate the catalytic quality of the reading. In your relationship with the Hidden Agenda, you may experience different things: Each entry is an opportunity to imagine what would otherwise never have crossed your mind. Just approaching it causes "things" to start happening. It's practically inevitable. It can also happen that some entries don't spark a "connection". It doesn't matter. Both the Secret Agenda and the Hidden Agenda are magical books (quite literally) that renew themselves with each reading. They will allow you to travel to the past, rescuing memories, ideas that were left behind, incomplete, halting, abandoned to their fate, lost in the sea of neurons that is our brain until "something" rescues them. The Hidden Agenda has a fundamentally inspiring nature. I know this from personal experience. In fact, I believe it would be possible to write an agenda with the ideas inspired by the Hidden Agenda (or the Secret Agenda). And also an agenda about the agenda that inspired the Hidden Agenda. And likewise, an agenda with... And so on to infinity. What madness! Enjoy the pleasure of occurrence, recollection, "the chance encounter of a sewing machine and an umbrella on a dissection table," as the surrealists used to say. I can only fervently insist that you accept Roberto Giobbi's generous invitation in the form of a book and enjoy it as much as your imagination allows.
